Kay Garnellen is a writer, performer/actor, trans-rights activist and sex-worker who loves making porn. In 2011, he co-starred in Bruce La Bruce's short "Offing Jack", as part of "Fucking Different XXX - queer porn crossover", and embodied explicit queer sex on the theatrical stage in Julia Jost's "Dein Mein Error" in Germany. Kay and his collaborator Lun Ario have performed their bondage burlesque piece 'Gay Love Story' at clubs and festivals in Europe since 2010. He appears in director Cheryl Dunye's just-relased queer sex comedy film "Mommy Is Coming" along with collaborator and partner Sadie Lune. He co-directed Lune's short porn “egg”, a sexy, funny, romantic and dirty visual poem, that was first shown at the Porn Film Festival Berlin 2011. Kay also stars in "Aiden & Gilbert", a feature-length journey of sexual discovery for two transguys by Sean Hennig, which will be released in 2012, as will another short porn with Jiz Lee by Claus Matthes. Kay is poly-collaborative and loves working with other artists for their inspiration, motivation, and for developing new skills. He is working on an auto-biographical book about his transition through both gender and lifestyle from a mainstream lesbian to a radical queer transguy. Kay's physical transition was documented since 2009 in a photography project with Amaury Grisel that is currently looking for an exhibition venue. Currently living in Berlin, Kay enjoys its creative life and all the possibilities and fun that the city still offers.
